Financial planning and advice for employees
People. They are the key to a successful company.
As any good employer knows, getting
the best is not that easy. But once you have found the right staff, created the
right working environment, found the right balance – you, as a caring employer,
will want to hold on to them. And that means looking out for their interests. Helping
them to address some of the key questions relating to their working lives – and
their lives outside the workplace.
Crucial questions – ranging from state pensions provision, to health concerns and
investment planning – whatever the problems or dilemmas, we can be your guide providing
professional expertise to assist your workforce in this vital area.
Whatever your employees’ needs, be it financial planning information, redundancy
advice, early retirement or ‘normal age’ retirement planning, we are there to help
you guide your work force through important financial and life decisions. We tailor
our seminar and advice programme to suit your company and employee needs – it’s
your course, so we tailor it to your requirements.
We offers courses so your employees can benefit from the expertise of highly qualified
professionals: planning for retirement, early voluntary retirement, dealing with
redundancy’ and ‘financial planning in the workplace’.
The courses are appropriate for companies with 10 or more employees wanting one
or more of the courses. They can take place either on site or, if you prefer, an
appropriate off-site location. For those companies that may not have enough employees
coming up to retirement age or facing redundancy, Bates can arrange combined open
courses with other organisations – once again the venue can be local and convenient
to all.
At Bates we believe in using specialist presenters to cover the different aspects
of the courses. These specialists are chosen above all for their knowledge and expertise
in the field – but you can be sure they won’t be sending anyone to sleep … we want
to inform, but we also want to engage. That’s why our selection process is so rigorous
– you will only get the best.
Of course you may want to bring in your own specialist speakers – perhaps someone
from the in-house pension scheme – to address the seminar.
Bates provides our specialist presenters for the financial aspects of the courses
- and all delegates are offered an introduction to financial planning services as
part of the package. This can be of enormous benefit to those who may need in-depth
investment and financial planning advice. A qualified Bates independent investment
adviser provides this specialist service as well.
Courses typically run from one to two days – but half day or evening sessions are
often useful for particular organisations. We recommend a maximum attendance of
24 employees (including partners).
